And running is one of my favorite things to do.
Shopping is another.
Knowing this, Josh has been watching the kids for me every morning while I go running/shopping for a house. We are just renting right now, and we live in an area where tons of homes are still being built & sold despite the weak economy elsewhere. Many of these, though Texas-sized, are dirt cheap. So, house shopping is fun.
Take this little puppy right here:
I love it. For me, location is important. And this house is located in one of my favorite spots to run, a neighborhood where many of our ward members live that has a nice trail system, pool, playground (this house is actually just down the street from the pool/playground/tennis courts). It's 3550 sq ft.Or this one:
3330 sq feet beauty. And the backyard is amazing. 10,000 sq ft of pure Texas bliss.

And last but not least, the one house that is just slightly out of our price range. At 3270 sq feet it is the most expensive of the 3 by 50 grand merely because it is located in an upscale neighborhood in the Heritage subdivision. A neighborhood slightly elevated above all the other neighborhoods, literally. But only slightly. There are no hills here - only bluffs.
This house is located right across the street from an unpaved running trail in a wooded area that runs along the top of the bluff (oh Sapsucker how I miss thee). The trail has a great view (okay, so it's a view of downtown Fort Worth and the urban sprawl, but still...) This house is also just down the street from the neighborhood park/tennis courts. And the Heritage subdivision, well...
Need I say more? Living in Heritage includes free access to your own little waterpark down the street from your home.Isn't this fun? Which one would motivate you to go running every day just to dream?

Oh - what fun shopping, and dreaming! Good luck choosing. I hope you get your dream home, you deserve it!
Scott gets online and looks at houses that we could buy if we go to Texas when we're done. I have to say, that would be a big draw. The TEXAS-sized houses.
P.S. It's not freezing here, yet. It was 50 yesterday and not much cooler today. I know winter is just around to corner and I'm not super excited, but I think I like have a winter, I just wish it were a little more mild, like Utah's.
