Gymnastics

McKay & Matthew have been taking a gymnastics class on Mondays this month. I have to admit, I was a little reluctant to enroll McKay in another sports-related activity because he is very adamant that he "hates sports" and has had kind of a bad attitude about the other activities we've tried (swimming & soccer). And gymnastics is not a cheap activity; rather, it is something that you would want to have to force your kid to go to no matter how bad their attitude because you'd already paid the tuition for it.

But... both boys love, love, love gymnastics! Even Spencer is especially happy while we're there. Watching all those little kids jumping up & down around him really makes him wild - he spends most of the class kicking his fat little legs while loudly grunting or screaming. I sorta feel bad about this, but I'm not going to even bother posting the picture of him smiling in his stroller again. By the time he can walk, we are going to have so many pictures of him sitting happily in his stroller during our outings that I will have to create a happy-Spencer-in-the-stroller-throughout-the-seasons calendar. We even have a cute one of him naked in the stroller at the swimming pool I can use for July or August.

This was the 1st week that Matthew had the courage to try sitting on the rope swing. He didn't stay on long enough for me to get a very good picture.

The bear walk.

SEE: NO BAD ATTITUDE! YAY!

Unlike Matthew who won't stay on the rope swing, McKay's coach always has to prompt him many times to get OFF the rope swing and drop into the pit. One of many ways in which these two boys are so different.

Matthew loves the bear walk, too. But his best event is the bars. They didn't do bars today so I didn't get pics. But he is seriously a crazy swinging monkey.
