Warrior Dash

On Saturday I ran in the Warrior Dash with a bunch of friends. It was only a 5k, but along the way we had to scale a massive wooden blockade, hurdle over barricades and crawl under barbed wire, maneuver over cargo nets, leap over warrior fires, trudge through waist- deep water (neck-deep if you happen to be 5' tall) and over floating logs, & ( just before the finish line at the only spot spectators were allowed) scramble through the mud under barbed wire fences so we could look totally goopy in all our pictures.

I love it! I really think that sounds fun, maybe except for the mud. Did they have a hose or something th spray you off with? Wish I could see some of the other pictures. They sound like a lot of fun!

Trina - You can see all of the obstacles if you go to their website - www.warriordash.com.
There's a similar race, "Jailbreak," in Sept if anyone wants to come visit and do it with me. It turns out I came in about 59th place (out of 700ish) in my age bracket and I totally didn't push it. I am going to try to place in the top 10 next year! Why not?
