Day out with Thomas

As any loving father would do, I spend a small fortune so that my children could ride a regular train that has one car dressed in a thomas the tank engine outfit. This would have been a pretty cool even when McKay was three because, that is when he hit the appex of his Thomas obsession. Now, it is just a mild amusement. But it was still a fun day.

The kids go their picture taken in front of the "real" Thomas. I would have gotten one on the tracks with Thomas' face, but it was about a 30 minute wait to take a picture. And let's be honest, all the trains have the same face. It is the number that counts.

And of course there is the Thomas build out of Legos. Which is cool, but it is even cooler since a new Legoland opened up in Grapevine. Both the boys are so photgraphic, rather i should say posers. That is what they are, I call it like i see it.

And of course, to make me (Josh) happy, there was a star citing. Can you guess who this famous athlete is? A clue is he plays american football. (sorry for the bad picture, it took a while to drop matthew whom i was carrying, find the camera and take a picture without seeming too paperazzi-ish)

If you can't guess who that is, is i assume no one will (he does live in this area), here is another test for you. Fill in the name of the trains for the different numbers
