Is it a pillow or a pet?

A nice family tradition that my parents started, is called Red Ribbon Dinner. It occurs on a random night in December, where we show up for dinner and there are red ribbons linking the light to each plate. And on each plate is a present. How could you not love this tradition?

So tonight was our Red Ribbon Night, only we had to use balck yarn because we didn't have red ribbon. But the kids were still excited.

Spencer got a wooden hammering set, I give the boys two days before a brother is used as a nail.

Matthew got a Panda Pillow Pet. He was so excited, and immediately left the table and laid down on his new treasure.

McKay was even more excited. He has grown infatuated with dolphins recently. Anb he has been begging for a realy bottle nose dolphin. While this is not a real dolphin, we was more than excited to have his own dolphin. He even named him Jumper.

So whether these adorable new presents are pillows or pets is a discussion for another time. Right now, we are enjoying our children have a blast with their new presents.

Dang, in that last picture, it looks like McKay has almost black hair.

PS Josh, this is the second time today that I commented on your post, so I am either A. the best sister ever or B. have no life. Take your pick.

Our kids have been asking for pillow pets for a year now so kurt got them each one 2 weeks ago. They love them, it's crazy. Michael the other day saw the commersal and ran into his room and put pj in his pillow pet and said it's time to go to nana's house. ad's work!

I can't believe how popular those pillows are...my girls keep asking for them everytime we are at the store. Santa just might have to get them.

So I just have to ask... Where did you find them for less than $20? I know Josh would not let the $20 price tag fly
