12 Days of Christmas

This year we have had a great opportunity to do the 12 days of Christmas to a family in our ward. What it entails is that each night we leave a little present on the door step, ring the door bell and take off running. McKay has loved doring this. He can even go up all by himself and do it (although he told me he can run faster with someone with him, so he wants me to go with him).

Tonight was the 11th day, and Matthew and McKay went up with me. I tried to video record the event, but it was a little dark out, so the video didn't capture anything but record the sound of an out of shaped middle aged man running down the street while panting like a dog. McKay and Mattew were too far ahead of me to capture their laughter while they ran.

For the 12 days of Christmas, the ward has here has selected about 20 families. On the first night, we gave them a 3 ring binder and a plastic sheet with a story. Along with the story came a prop or object from the story. Then each night we add a new story to the binder and a prop. I have been impressed with the set up, and have to give credit to the Relief Society President Melanie Talbot for the idea.
