With Kelli's family coming in January, we are on the lookout for good Texas Barbeque. The Klingler's recommended the feedstore. The name alone made me a believer, but i won't judge a restaurant by it's name (Whataburger - world's greatest burger? yeah right)
So we decided we would check it out ourselves. It is nestled in the nice community of Southlake, TX. As we drove there, it is on a street that has mutimillion dollar mansions. And then, sticking out like a delicious sore thumb, was the store.

We went to order, kind of like a school cafeteria set up, and we told the guy this was our first time here and asked what he would recommend. He told us the ribs, then put some on a plate and had us try some. Delicious!!! So we ordered some ribs and briskets. After we sat down, they brought us some fried okra. Then they came out with a meet sampler plate for us to try all the different things on their menu. Everything was so delicous.
After our meal, Kelli asked if she could see what the peach cobbler looked like. Without hessitation they gave her a complimentary plate of cobbler with ice cream. Seriously, it was like we were Dillon and Brenda hanging out at the Peach Pit.
In all we totally recommend this place, and will be frequent visitors when in the mood for good Texas Barbeque.
