My oldest and bestest friend Laura came to visit me a couple weeks ago. I can't believe I am just now getting to posting some pictures from the visit! Man, ever since Josh and I finished our NaBloPoMos, it's been NoMoBlo (No More Blog) for us.
So Laura and I had a blast playing with playdough, coloring, & eating grilled cheese sandwiches. It was just like we were in 4th grade again.
Some of my favorite moments from the trip:
-Matthew and Spencer doing a double face plant onto the sidewalk at the outlet stores. Miraculously, no one was hurt, but Laura did have to direct traffic away from the scene ("There 's nothing to see here, folks! Nothing to see! Move along!)
-Laura & I falling in love with the exact same pair of shoes at the mall and realizing at the same disappointing moment that now that we have children and don't work anymore, there is no way we could ever justify buying them.
-Holding Laura's 4 month old daughter for the 1st time! I absolutely loved seeing a little girl smile up at me for change!
-Receiving all my handmade gifts from Laura (she is the BEST little seamstress and I want to be like her when I grow up and learn how to use my sewing machine).
-Getting lost driving to Costco (we made it halfway to Oklahoma).
-Laura telling me she doesn't know how I make it through a day with my boys without drinking.
