I was suppose to meet Claudio Lucarelli for lunch at 12:30 (Claudio is a cornell professor on sabatical down here). But I got lost, and ended up having to take a taxi to his office. (above is a picture of his school) We went to lunch at a place called Tip 'n Tap. We had a delicious traditional Chilean sandwhich. And guess who was there?
JOAQUIN LAVIN!!! VIVA EL CAMBIO!
So yes i had lunch with Joaquin Lavin
In the afternoon I passed by several families from La Reina. It was great to see many of them strong in the church. One family that we lived with as missionaries, was a blast to see. To end the night i went to visit Maria Teresa and Mario. Maria Teresa and her daughter was baptized when i was in the area, and after a spell of inactivity, she returned to the church and two more of her daughters were baptized. It was so great to see them.
In all it has been an absolute dream to return here to visit the people. There is something about visiting the people that we love, those with whom we have felt the power of the spirit, that creates bonds that last a life time.

Maybe if you get a job down there in Chile I can convince my wife to move there as well.
That is compeletely awesome, Josh! It's wonderful you're able to be there again!
Hi Josh--I should have go visit the families I worked with when I was down there. If you take the job down there, I will definitely be down to visit.
Saludos,

It is so great seeing the photos of the families you taught. I really remember Maggie and Slyvana the most. They were so completely nice to us. Chilean people are some of the best! Jeg elsker dig!
