And we are off

January is the month of travel. Josh started the month off by going to Atlanta for interviews. He interviewed with several schools at an econ conference. With the hope of josh flying out for second round interviews, and trying to get a break from the snow (see next post) Kelli and the kids ran away to Radiator Springs, I mean St. George. While Kelli is there, Josh, being the topper that he is, got a flyout to interview with the University of Chile. The nice thing about Chile is that it is in the southern hemisphere, meaning the toilet flushes the opposite direction, birds fly north for the winter, and January is summer. The whole family will be back on February 2nd, where we will compare our tans and be a family again.

Good luck to Josh! But I think the toilet bowl thing is a myth (see http://www.snopes.com/science/coriolis.asp) :)

jonathan, flush your toilet. Which way does it swirl? I flushed mine and it goes counter clock-wise.
