Watermelon Season

You mean it's not peak watermelon season where you're at?
Our garden barely survived the heat, drought, and its caretakers being gone for a month and is now miraculously ready for round #2: the fall and winter harvest.

In our part of Texas, that means we have ripe cherry tomatoes, watermelon, radishes, lettuce, bell peppers, and basil. ToNS of basil. (Too bad neither Josh nor I like pesto). We also have some pumpkins that should be ready come Christmas (got on that bandwagon a little late, but from the looks of it we are seriously gonna have tons of pumpkins for Santa).

I am most proud of our watermelons.
