Mommy and McKay on a bridge that overlooks American Falls.
Finally some pictures of Matthew (he is in the sling most of the time at this young age, and pictures of a sling are not exciting, yet there will be some forthcoming) . Grandpa had a great time with Matthew, he is just building the relationship now so when Matthew gets old enough grandpa can start spoiling him with delicious chocolates and treats.
McKay left me hanging. We were both suppose to open our mouths wide and shout for the picture. But instead McKay is left with an impish grin, knowing that his father is embarrassing himself in public.
If you go to Niagara Falls, the Maid of the Mist is a must. Well worth the money spent, and you get to keep the poncho for scrapbook pages. Behind us is Rainbow bridge which takes you from USA to CND (Oh! Canada!)
This is us on the Maid of the Mist. Using rainman's own words, "it was wet."
After the boat ride we went to the base of Ameican falls to get wet (notice the exciting picture of baby number two in the sling).
On our way to find a place for lunch, we ventured off the main tourist attractions and visited the city of niagara falls. We first stopped at a restaurant and lounge in a sketchy part of town. Kelli went inside to look at the menu and she was told that they don't serve food (May i suggest a chnage of name of the establishment?). After a couple more close calls we decided to head back to tourist city. And this is what we saw.
Since none of us had a red hat, we could not go in to do some shopping.
After eating at the good old american Hard Rock Cafe (not the best family environment) we decided to drive to Canda. We had some documentation of our citizenship and we headed over to Canada. It was getting late and the kids were asleep, so I stayed in the car while Kelli and her folks took a look at the Canadian side of the falls. (Another explanation of me staying in the car is that parking was not cheap and Ontario is not the empire province, so the pass did not work).
We said goodbye to Kelli's parents, and had such a blast with their visit out here. Come back soon, and we will miss you.
