When Mike and Katie came to visit in between Christmas and New Years, they wanted to see nature. It turns out, that there is a lot of nature near us. We went hiking at two different lakes. These pictures are from Lake Eagle Mountain. It was a beautiful day, though a little cold, but it is December so that's okay.
Spencer was the cutest on the trip. He loves throwing things into the water, and the rocks on the shore of the lake were just what he wanted.
For a little bit, then he started to get hungry, cold, and tired. But he was rocking some Lightning McQueen mittens.
Needless to say, the hike tired him out. And by the time we got back for lunch, he was out.
