As of this posting, NO extended family member on either side has actually seen baby Spencer. Some family members have resorted to referring to him as the "phantom baby." He really does exist and here's the proof in pictures.
More proof: Josh and I are walking around like zombies these days. Spencer has been the most easygoing, delightful, sleepy baby ... during the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. He cries and/or eats every half hour most of the night. He finally goes to "bed" around 3 a.m., which would be fine if Matthew and McKay didn't wake up at 5:30 a.m.
But seriously, this baby is a sweetheart. He is so cute (look at those toes!) and cuddly and really easy to soothe (all you really need is a good, loud blowdryer). We have all fallen in love with him!

Have you tried swaddling? I didn't know to do it with Eli so he woke up at least every two hours if not more. Brianna started out that way until I started swaddling and now she sleeps 8 hours every night. Then I feed her and she sleeps another 3 hours.
I'm so sorry Kelli! Although he is adorable.:) I wish I was there to help you, and take McKay and Mathew off your hands for the afternoon so you could sleep. Hopefully he'll figure out how to sleep at night soon!
