St.. George: Birthdays

s

We did a fair amount of celebrating while in St. George. January 17th was McKay's FOURTH birthday (can you believe he's that old?!). We had a huge family party with a ton of b-day loot including the coveted present that prompted 99.9% of fights between brothers and cousins during the 2 weeks following - a Thomas the Tank engine suitcase with wheels. It was McKay's carry-on on our flight home and it was so cute to see him pulling it behind him down the aisle of the airplane. You should have heard the "oohs" "aahhs" and "how cute!"s as we passed down the aisles. It helped counteract the fact that NOBODY was really glad to see a mom alone with 2 energetic little boys getting on that 4.5 hour flight with them. At least they were cute boys.

Anyway, we also celebrated McKay cousin Aubrey's birthday while in St. George (Doni's little girl). She is 1 year older than McKay and insisted on a very specific Ariel cake. So my mom and I pumped out a totally amazing one that I am actually very, very proud of - that is why I am posting a picture of it along with the "Hot Wheels" cake I made for McKay.

What a BLAST!!!
