Rome: Part 3

I love history, and of course I loved all the historical sites Rome had to offer.
The Pantheon (built in 120 A.D. So cool!):

A view of the dome inside the Pantheon. It was awesomely huge.
I love this picture of Laura with the obelisk (the statue - there are tons of obelisks in Rome; they were stolen from the Egyptians and then placed all over the city). We are sitting outside another church that I made her go into against her will. I love that you can see the back side of the Pantheon in this photo too.
 The Trevi Fountain.
The Spanish Steps. It's like "Where's Waldo?"  - find me if you can.
Rome was the most exciting city to walk around in because you can't go far without stumbling upon ancient Greek and Roman ruins. Rome is a city built on top of an ancient city. Here are some ruins we came across one day:
And the biggest "ruin" of all: The Colosseum (A.D. 80!) This place was even more amazing than I had imagined.
The Baths of Caracalla (A.D. 200!!)
Me at the Colosseum looking all excited and cheesy.
Awesome view of the Colosseum. Lots of good pictures here - the light was just right.
Another one of my faves - Roman Forum (parts of this are from as early as the 8th century B.C.)
Me happy at the Colosseum again.
 More ruins.
And me at the Roman Forum.
