Recently the boys and I spent a morning picking apples at Grisamore Farms and then McKay and I made the apples into applesauce and canned a few jars. McKay absolutely loved the process (unfortunately, neither of my boys like applesauce that much)! I took this picture of him documenting our fun together, and he took the picture of me.

What a fun thing to do. Congratulations on your race! From your post and the comments of other girls...I'm wondering when your baby is due? I hope you get a girl this time.
I am envious, the only u-pick place I have found around hear is $2/lb. Horrible I know. I love making applesauce, but the other thing you can tray is canning some apple pie filling. That is supper yummy with just a bit of whipped cream and/or granola. And by the way congats on your baby. I am excited for you guys. You are always welcome to crash at our house in your travels even if you end up with ten kids.
