Today is my 28th birthday. It started with me driving 25 minutes to work & then having McKay throw up an assortment of what was at one point berries all over his car seat just as we arrived at the babysitter's house. We sang happy birthday as I cleaned up the pink mess & tried not to dry heave and then drove 25 minutes back home. We then sang happy birthday the rest of the day at our house because McKay wanted to "pway boofday pawty". This involves pretending to bake cakes for all of his 20 trains (22 now - for the record, I have purchased 0 of them). Part of the fun is fwosting & putting spwinkles on each one of the cakes, singing happy birthday, individually blowing out the candles on every cake, & then having James say "mine's gwoss" & meandering over to Thomas to share his cake. Anything I say must be repeated by every single train - i.e., if I say, "the cakes are all done", McKay lifts the face of each train and says "all done". It's very cute the first few times. Being confined to my home all day with a sick child and having to play it over and over again, well....
The day got better as it went along. It warmed up to 45 degrees outside and I was able to pry the trains out of McKay's fists long enough to take a short walk. Our sorority's cook made me a killer cake & bought me flowers & 2 new maternity shirts and our friends Sarah & Gerrett gave me some yummy dark chocolate...so... yeah, all in all, I guess the first day of being 28 wasn't too shabby.

Happy birthday! I thought of you this morning when I realized it was the 13th. I never forget your day because Skylar's is tomorrow. Anyway, happy 28th!
On a sidenote, CONGRATS on the NCSP!! Was it hard to get? I didn't realize you were still working. Where do you work? You're amazing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Kelli!
Happy Birthday! I was thinking of how you , Amy & I never got to go out together for our b-days last year! Hey Josh...you need to do something FABULOUS for your wife, to make up for her terrible day!

Josh,
I fully understand why your wife would take power away from you. I remember from youth leg that you were power hungry. Yes I do need to exercise, not all of us enjoy playing basketball as much as you or my bro. How did you know it was 40 pounds later. But I have to say I still have a pretty good set of hair. I was bald last summer since I shaved my head because my store doubled the amount of money we rais for primary childrens so I was on KSL and they shaved my head. Maybe I can get the video on here and everyone can see it, but now I have a full set. HAve you started the rogaine? With regard to teach the kids, they will not be coming. This will be an adult only trip.
